Meet Larry Hartwell

Larry Hartwell is a trusted REALTOR® with Our House Real Estate, proudly serving buyers and sellers across the Highland Lakes and Central Texas Hill Country. A Burnet County resident since 2011, Larry brings both local insight and years of experience to every transaction.

Before joining Our House, he spent nearly five years with Keller Williams Realty in Cedar Park, where he gained a strong foundation in big-broker training and strategy. He also brings a background in real estate investing, having owned and sold residential, commercial, and farm & ranch properties.

Larry is an Affiliate with Homes for Heroes®, a national program that gives back to community heroes — including firefighters, law enforcement, military, healthcare workers, and teachers — by helping them save significantly when buying or selling a home.

Known for his professionalism, market knowledge, and heart for service, Larry is committed to making the buying or selling process smooth, informed, and meaningful for every client.

Meet Buddy Dyer

A native Houstonian, Buddy dedicated 35 years to serving his community through the Houston Fire Department, culminating his distinguished career as a District Fire Chief for the final 13 years. Following his retirement in 2017, he and his wife relocated to the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where he quickly became an active member of the local community.

Buddy brings a unique blend of public service, construction expertise, and real estate knowledge to every client relationship. His extensive background includes more than 10 years with David Weekley Homes in onsite quality control, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of residential construction and building standards. He also has firsthand experience as a general contractor, having built both his family home in Houston and a custom barndominium in Burnet.

Recognizing the value of his experience, Buddy transitioned into real estate to help buyers, sellers, and investors make informed decisions with confidence. His construction background gives clients a distinct advantage, allowing him to identify a property's true potential, evaluate structural and quality considerations, and offer valuable insight on renovations and improvements that can enhance value.
